The collection contains seven letters to William Morris Colles (literary agent, founder, and manager of the Authors' Syndicate), 1895-1911, concerning publishing her novel Emotional moments, thanks for his encouragement of her work, the financial value of her writing, why she doesn't write a serial, and inquiring about publishing her work in America. One letter to the Authors' Syndicate, 1907, replies to their suggestions for Emotional moments; two letters to Miss Childers, 1899, set up a lunch date and invite Childers to join her at a reception of the Society of American Women in London.
